AMD announced a series of new Ryzen 3rd Generation Processors, and an octa-core, 16-thread 7nm CPU, shown in CES 2019 at the beginning of this month.
While many people believed that it meant that the new Ryzen 3rd Generation Processor would be maximized at eight cores, a UserBenchmark Entry apparently unveiled the 12-core, 24-thread version.
According to the entry, which was seen by the Twitter user TUM_APISAK, this CPU will have a base clock of 3.4GHz and a Boost clock of 3.6GHz, and will use the AMD AM4 socket on the motherboard.

Comparing CPUs
The alleged Benchmark for this new Ryzen 3rd Generation pitted it against the 12-core, 24-thread Intel Core i9 7920X and Intel Core i9 9900K, which comes with eight cores and 16 threads.
According to the results, the new AMD Ryzen 3rd Generation Processor is not as powerful in single-core and quad-core scores, which is a bit disappointing. However, in the multi-core benchmark, AMD chip beats i9-9900K, while i9-7920X defeats both of them.
If these results are accurate (nothing has been confirmed keeping in mind) and this new 12-core Ryzen 3rd generation chip is present, then pricing of this CPU would be incredibly important. AMD may not be able to compete with Intel when it comes to power, but it can definitely reduce its opponent when it comes to price.
