Amazon is bringing delivery robots on the streets of a Seattle suburb.
The online shopping giant said that it started testing self-driving robots in Snowhomish County, Washington on Wednesday, which could bring Amazon package to shoppers' door.
According to Amazon photos, robots are light blue about the size of Labrador, six wheels and Amazon Smile logo is stamped. Six of them will be roaming on the sidewalk and roads on the neighborhood.
Amazon says that an employee will first go with the robot, but it does not give extra detail how the service will work. The company did not answer questions about the test.
Many companies are testing the same delivery robot in college campuses, which distribute fast food or snacks to students.
Amazon says that his robot, which he is saying scout, can navigate around pets and pedestrians.
